Our annual Halloween party completed a very busy couple of fundraising days for the Lions. Lots of you dressed up along with those of you who didn’t need to bother! The photos I am sure will give you an idea of the lengths people went too!
Steve Harley – as usual led the proceedings for the evening with his fabulous entertainment – Thanks Steve!
There were in particular two highlights of the evening the first of which was the Treasure Hunt, where the children – and the odd manager hurtled around the cricket ground hunting for clues that solved the mystery. In the end after much searching by torchlight, ‘Foxes Flyers’ came home the winners. The second was when children endeavored to wrap their coaches in toilet paper – I think the photos tell that story!
A huge thank you to those of you who helped to set up the room, and to those who helped on the evening itself.Due to donations from ‘glowshop.com’ very little in terms of prizes needed to be bought which meant that we were able to raise £167.30 for the Club. Thank you so much!
