Eventual league winners after losing only one league game all season which was a 1-0 defeat on the opening day to our main rivals Worcester Colts in a game that we dominated and deserved to win. The Colts manager apologised after the match as his lads left the field with their heads down. We conceded only 8 goals this season and it is a fantastic achievement to have only lost one league match.

We have all improved and played some nice football throughout the season. Our player of the season awards were a very tough decision this year with all the players playing so well in a real team performance. We look forward to 11 aside football on the cricket ground next season. Well done to all the players who are a credit to Kidderminster Lions and their parents.

Kidderminster Lions are going from mini soccer to 11 aside next season as they move up to under 12s. Last season saw them crowned league champions after losing only one game all season which was a superb achievement by the lads. The success continued throughout the summer with the lads winning tournaments and finishing runners up as the teams met in the finals on three occasions at Burlish, Catshill, Halas Hawks and Worcester Colts.
