The 2005-2006 season has been a great first year at 11-A-Side for the under 12's. The whole team have improved during the year. The lad's have adapted to the longer games and larger pitches without any trouble and have managed to keep their standard of football high. As testament to that we reached the Quarter Finals of the South Staffs Cup, and were very unlucky to be knocked out at the Semi-Final stage of the Stourport and District Cup. We Have set a record and made a bit of history by becoming the first 11-A-Side Kidderminster Lions team to win the league. Had a superb day hosted by Evesham Town at Evesham Towns ground winning a Mini Champions League playing 3 30 minute games against the winners of the Mercian League, Evesham League and Cheltenham League and sponsored by the Worcestershire FA. To top off the season we entered two teams into the Stourport and District League 5-A-Side and both reached the final, therefore taking Winners and runners up in that.

Well done lad's you have been well disciplined, great in training and it's been a pleasure to train you throughout the year. Thank you to the parents for supporting, helping with the nets and running the line. We would also like to thank our kit sponsor for 2005-2006 season Steve Harley of Harley Entertainments, All Electric for providing Tracksuits and the committee for all the effort they put in keeping the club running. Hope you have all enjoyed this year as much as we have and are looking forward to the 2006-2007 season.
