Last Seasons Review
In what was their first full season together the Cubs can be very proud of themselves. Starting off in a league of 12 they worked hard for each other and with a mixed bag of results, they managed to finish 7th. The league was split at Christmas with the top 7 going into a premier league. Fighting right to the end we managed to finish 7th following a fantastic win against Kidderminster Athletic. Magnificent goalkeeping from Lewis Williams, dogged defending, last minute tackles and goal line clearances from Owen Scott, Dale Parker, Justyn Holloway and Ben Priest, tenacious midfield tackling and good assists from Liam Taylor, Connor Davies and Steven Sharp, and a deadly eye for goal from Ryan Yarranton and James Cobley, the cubs have had a fantastic first season. – Well Done boys and roll on next year.
